The Souffleurs
whisper in “Nightingales” made of carbon, fibreglass
and carton pipes. A Nightingale is about 6 feet long, which corresponds to the average length of contemporary man. |
| We also whisper in telescopic
Nightingales, measuring up to 23 feet (7 meters).
Few
experiences of whispering in agricultural irrigation pipe systems
enable us to propose a silent 242 feet long journey through words.

| We are carrying out researches to find a material capable of conveying human whispered word up to 333 meters, which would enable us to invent installations with one second time-lag, a « talk to yourself » type of machine. | |
